Producer David Saxe is no stranger to show business. Born and raised in Las Vegas into a showbiz family, he produced Melinda-The First Lady of Magic for 16 years. With a firm working knowledge in all areas of show production from staging and sound, to lighting design and set construction, Saxe has actually learned and worked every aspect! With a degree in communications from UNLV, he set out to utilize his knowledge in marketing, advertising, public relations and hotel management to produce three shows on the strip when he was just 17 years old. This gave him the title of being the youngest producer in the history of Las Vegas entertainment. Nearly 20 years and over 20,000 performances later, Saxe has produced V-The Ultimate Variety Show, Showgirls of Magic, Buck Wild, and X-Treme Magic.  With his experience of theatrical show production domestically and internationally, his work is designed to maximize audience excitement.  In his very rare down time, David is a professor at UNLV in the Entertainment department and is a board member with the Nevada chapter of ALS.  Every February Saxe produces the “All Star Las Vegas Show” with all of the proceeds going to ALS of Nevada. For all of his contributions to the various charities throughout Las Vegas, he received the “Key to the City” by Mayor Oscar Goodman and February 22nd was declared David Saxe Day.  In 2006 he was awarded with Industry Executive of the Year from UNLV’s College of Hotel Administration for his knowledge and hard work within the entertainment industry.

In 2004, Saxe bought the V Theater and brought in 4 of the best shows in town.  V- The Ultimate Variety Show, Fab Four Mania, The Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show, and Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theater all perform nightly.  It is also the home to Stripper 101, which teaches women the art of seduction in a private studio within the V Theater.

Saxe has recently expanded his operation by opening a 15,000 sq ft. production studio in downtown Las Vegas.  The David Saxe Productions studio is comprised of offices, rehearsal studio space, a seamless green screen room, a recording studio and over 2,000 props and costumes.

David Saxe is currently employing over 200 people and is producing more shows in Las Vegas than Cirque Du Solei.
